3. INSTALL HEAD (13) ONTO ROD (18).
4. INSTALL SPACER (9) ON ROD (18).
5. ASSEMBLE PISTON (6) WITH NEW SEALS AND
INSTALL ONTO ROD (18).
a. Install seals (4) and ring (5) on outside of piston.
Ensure seal assembly is installed as shown.
NOTE
The packing is centered between two
backup rings in piston.
b. Install the two backup rings (7) and the packing
(8) into inside of piston (6).
CAUTION
b. Using strap wrench, tighten piston securely.
Do not damage back-up rings and
packing when installing piston over
