Ensure that ignition switch isin OFF position. Disconnectengine harness from oilpressure/temperature sensor(WP 0093 00).a. Inspect oil temperaturesensor and engine harnessconnectors for dirty,corroded, bent, broken, andpushed back or extendedpins.Clean and repair connector(s) asrequired (WP 0111 00).b. Check oil temperaturesensor and engine harnessfor dirt or moisture in or onthe connectors and formissing or damagedconnector seals.Remove dirt and moisture fromconnector. Replace missing ordamaged connector seals (WP0111 00).2. Place ignition switch in OFFposition and disconnectengine harness from oilpressure/temperature sensor.3. Measure resistance from pin 4(or D) to pin 2 (or B) of oilpressure/temperature sensor.Resistance should be 300-90kohms.If resistance is not as specified,replace oil pressure/temperaturesensor (WP 0093 00).USE TEST LEAD KIT P/N 3822917300-90K OHMS
