TM 10-3930-675-20-20119 00-2PROPELLER SHAFT UNIVERSAL JOINT REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED0119 00REMOVAL - CONTINUED6.Using C-clamp, push downward on one bearing cap (2) to remove opposite bearing cap (2) from yoke (1) of propellershaft.7.Rotate propeller shaft 180 degrees and press downward on end of tee (7) to remove other bearing cap (2).NOTENote position of tee and grease fitting for installation.8.Remove tee (7) from yoke (1) of propeller shaft.9.Remove grease fitting (8) from tee (7).INSTALLATION1.Install grease fitting (8) to tee (7).2.Position tee (7) loosely into yoke (1) of propeller shaft.3.Install bearing cap (2) into one side of yoke (1) of propeller shaft.4.Rotate propeller shaft 180 degrees and install other bearing cap (2) to other side of yoke (1). Ensure bearing caps and tee(7) are centered.5.Install two retaining rings (3) to propeller shaft.6.Position flange yoke (4) loosely to tee (7).7.Install bearing cap (6) into one side of flanged yoke (4).8.Rotate flanged yoke (4) 180 degrees and install other bearing cap (6) to other side of flanged yoke. Ensure bearing capsand tee (7) are centered.9.Install two retaining rings (5) to flanged yoke (4).10.Lubricate grease fitting (8) (LO 10-3930-675-12).12345678
