HYDRAULIC SYSTEM TEST POINT PROCEDURES - CONTINUED

TEST POINT NO. 4: BRAKE CIRCUIT NO. 2 - CONTINUED

Connect hydraulic test gage with adapter to test point no. 4.

Start engine.

Press brake pedal. Pressure will stabilize at 1450 psi (100 bar). Release brake pedal and pressure will drop to 0 psi.
5.
Shut down engine. Relieve hydraulic system pressure (WP 0164 00).
6.
Disconnect hydraulic test gage and adapter from test point no. 4.
TEST POINT NO. 5: BRAKE CIRCUIT NO. 1
NOTE
Test point no. 5 provides a means to check brake circuit no. 1 operating pressures.
1.
Drain brake system circuit no. 1 accumulator pressure by opening shutoff valve. When system has completely drained,
close shutoff valve.
2.
Connect hydraulic test gage with adapter to test point no. 5.
3.
Start engine. Pressure will rise to 2537.5 psi (175 bar).
4.
Press brake pedal. Pressure will stabilize at 1450 psi (100 bar). Release brake pedal and pressure will drop to 0 psi.
5.
Shut down engine. Relieve hydraulic system pressure (WP 0164 00).
6.
Disconnect hydraulic test gage and adapter from test point no. 5.
TEST POINT NO. 6: STEERING PUMP NO. 1
NOTE
Test point no. 6 provides a means to check steering pump operating pressures.
1.
Drain steering system pressure by opening shutoff valve. When system has completely drained, close shutoff valve.
2.
Connect hydraulic test gage with adapter to test point no. 6.
