HYDRAULIC SYSTEM TEST POINT PROCEDURES - CONTINUED
0186 00
TEST POINT NO. 9: SERVO SYSTEM
NOTE
Test point no. 9 provides a means to check the servo system operating pressure.
1.
Connect hydraulic test gage with adapter to test point no. 9.
2.
Start engine and allow engine to idle.
3.
Servo system pressure should be 435 psi (30 bar).
4.
Shut down engine. Relieve hydraulic system pressure (WP 0164 00).
5.
Disconnect hydraulic test gage and adapter from test point no. 9.
TEST POINT NO. 10: CAB LIFT MAIN VALVE
NOTE
Test point no. 10 provides a means to check the cab lift operating pressure.
1.
Connect hydraulic test gage with adapter to test point no. 10.
2.
Remove handrail from mounted position.
3.
Turn ignition on, but DO NOT start engine.
4.
Press rocker switch on instrument panel to turn on electrical auxiliary pump.
5.
Raise cab transport lift to the highest position. Pressure should be 1595 psi (110 bar).
6.
Lower cab transport lift.
7.
Turn off electrical auxiliary pump and ignition.
8.
Install handrail.
9.
Shut down engine. Relieve hydraulic system pressure (WP 0164 00).
10.
Disconnect hydraulic test gage and adapter from test point no. 10.
TEST POINT NO. 11: TOPHANDLER AND BOOM FOLDING SYSTEMS
NOTE
Test point no. 11 provides a means to check tophandler and boom folding operating pressure.
1.
Connect hydraulic test gage with adapter to test point no. 11.
2.
Start engine. Standby pressure of 261 psi (18 bar) will appear on gage. After 5 seconds, hydraulic pump will start and
system pressure will increase to 3045 psi (210 bar).
3.
Shut down engine. Relieve hydraulic system pressure (WP 0164 00).
4.
Disconnect hydraulic test gage and adapter from test point no. 11.
