Remove bolt (12) and lockwasher (13) from each side of tophandler (5). Retain lockwashers.
13.
Lubricate two jackscrews (9) with lubricating oil and install into ear of each pivot shaft (10).
NOTE
To avoid binding pivot shaft, screw in jackscews equally and alternately.
14.
Screw in jackscrews (9) approximately 8 in (20.3 cm) to completely withdraw each pivot shaft (10) until boom exten-
sion (11) is free of tophandler (5).
NOTE
Because tophandler junction box is disconnected from RTCH electrical system, error codes will appear on
drivers ECS display screen when boom is operated. These error codes will include numbers 245-265 as
well as others. To continue operation, reset drivers display and use override button on right side of joystick
housing (TM 10-3930-675-10).

Operate boom while pressing override switch to lift boom extension clear of tophandler (TM 10-3930-0675-10).

Back RTCH away from trailer.
17.
Fully retract boom (TM 10-3930-675-10).
18.
Tie down tophandler to trailer IAW shipping data plate on RTCH (TM 10-3930-675-10).
19.
Reinstall tophandler mounting hardware [pivot shafts (10), lockwashers (13), and bolts (12)] to provide secure stowage
of items while tophandler is in transit.
