REMOVAL
1.
Position RTCH directly behind trailer on which tophandler is to be placed.
2.
Extend boom to 90 in (229 cm). Turn tophandler to longitudinal position (TM 10-3930-675-10).
3.
Place cribbing of 4 X 4’s on deck of trailer, so that twistlocks will not touch trailer deck when tophandler spreader
beams are placed on cribbing.
4.
With both tilt and oscillation locks OFF, lower tophandler onto cribbing on deck of trailer until oscillation/leveling cyl-
inders are fully collapsed (TM 10-3930-675-10).
5.
Shut down RTCH engine. Turn ignition back on and exercise joystick to relieve hydraulic pressure in system (TM 10-
3930-675-10).
NOTE
DO NOT disconnect tophandler angle sensor from junction box.
6.
Remove tophandler angle sensor and cable clamps from its mounting and secure to boom, out of the way (WP 0040
05.1). Reinstall mounting hardware to prevent loss.
NOTE
DO NOT disconnect tilt cylinder hydraulic hoses when disconnecting tilt cylinders from tophandler.
