Fuel lines may retain small amounts of fuel.1.Remove fuel tank drain plug (13) and drain fuel into a suitable clean container. Replace plug.2.Disconnect fuel supply hose (15) and remove elbow (11) and adapter (12).3.Trace and tag fuel supply hose (15) from fuel tank (14) to fuel filter (17).4.Remove hose clamps (16) as required and disconnect fuel supply hose (15) from fuel filter (17).FUEL SUPPLY HOSE INSTALLATION1.Apply a thin coat of sealing compound to elbow (11) and adapter (12) and install in fuel tank (14).2.Install fuel supply hose (15) on elbow (11).3.Route fuel supply hose (15) and connect to fuel filter (17).4.Secure fuel supply hose (15) in place with hose clamps (16) as needed.5.Replace fuel in fuel tank, start engine, and check for fuel leaks (TM 10-3930-675-10).6.Install engine cover (WP 0143 00).1716151112131415
