Measure drive gear drive shaft outside diameter as shown. Measurement must be 1.3773 to 1.3780 in. (34.984 to 35.000
mm). If not as specified, replace drive gear.

INSTALLATION
NOTE
Ensure all components have been cleaned and are free of old sealants and gasket material.
1.
Apply a light coat of clean lubricating oil to needle bearing bore in front gear housing and hydraulic pump drive adapter.
2.
Apply a light coat of clean lubricating oil to outside diameter of both needle bearings.
NOTE
Front gear housing needle bearing MUST be installed 0.010 to 0.030 in. (0.25 to 0.76 mm) below gear
housing surface.
3.
Using bearing installer provided, install new needle bearing (5) in front gear housing.
