TOPHANDLER WIRING HARNESSES REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

WIRING HARNESS B, TOPHANDLER JUNCTION BOX-TO-CONTROL VALVE: REMOVAL
1.
Disconnect wiring harness B (12) connector from tophandler junction box (1) connector.
2.
Remove upper cable guard from wiring harness B (12). Retain cable guard for installation.
3.
Remove screw (14) and cable clamp (15) from wiring harness B (12) grommet.
NOTE
Use wiring diagrams in WP 0048 00, as needed, and ensure diagram or record of wire lead connec-
tions is made prior to disconnection to ensure correct connection of leads.
4.
At control valve, locate these wire leads, press in on retaining clips, and disconnect leads from solenoids (13) as follows:

Disconnect wire lead 6034-1 from leveling lock solenoid (16).
NOTE
Nonelectrical wire is secured to wiring harness to be used as a guide wire during installation of new
harness.
6.
Secure all loose leads of wiring harness B (12) to nonelectrical wire.
7.
With assistance, pull wiring harness B (12) up through tophandler carriage until nonelectrical wire is exposed approxi-
mately 18 in. (46 cm).
8.
Remove wiring harness B (12) from nonelectrical wire, leaving nonelectrical wire in place as a guide wire.
