NOTE
Annually, brake and steering accumulators must have pre-charge pressure checked to ensure
accumulator serviceability. This check may be performed on vehicle or off.
New brake and steering accumulators are not shipped charged. They must be charged prior to
installation on vehicle.
CHECKING BRAKE ACCUMULATOR PRE-CHARGE PRESSURE

Remove cap (2) from valve end of brake accumulator (1).
