4.
Using engine lifting fixture, lift and install exhaust side of engine on rebuild stand as follows:
a.
Align top of adapter plate (16) to top row of water header plate mounting screw holes (15).
NOTE
Cylinder block must be positioned so two screw holes (17) in bottom row will show on each side of
adapter plate.
b.
Align guide pins with bottom row of adapter plate holes.
c.
Secure engine to rebuild stand with eight screws (18). Tighten screws to 35 lb-ft (47 Nm).
d.
Remove two guide pins and install remaining two screws (18). Tighten screws to 35 lb-ft (47 Nm).

REMOVAL
1.
Install front lifting bracket (20) with four screws (19). Install rear lifting bracket (21) with two screws (22). Tighten
screws to 55 lb-ft (75 Nm).
