CAUTION
DO NOT mark main bearings on crankshaft mating surface. Possible damage to engine may occur if
bearings are reused.

Remove seven upper main bearing shells (7) and mark for location.

Install gear puller and remove crankshaft gear (9).
10.
Remove and retain crankshaft key (8).
