Measure thrust bearing thickness in three places. Measurement must be 0.1870 to 0.1925 in. (4.75 to 4.89 mm). If not as
specified, replace thrust bearing.

Measure crankshaft as follows. If crankshaft is not within specifications, replace crankshaft.
a.
Measure front and rear oil seal wear groove. Measurement must be 0.0098 in. (0.25 mm).
