Position new gasket (3) and camshaft rear cover plate (4). Install three screws (5) and tighten to 35 lb-ft (47 Nm).

Measure camshaft drive gear end clearance. Measurement must be 0.005 to 0.013 in. (0.13 to 0.33 mm). If not as speci-
fied, remove and check measurements.
14.
Install camshaft idler gear (WP 0276 00).
15.
Install cam follower assembly (WP 0275 00).
16.
Install cylinder head (WP 0199 00).
