WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during
procedure. Ensure that any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load capacity. Keep
clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this warning may result in
death or injury to personnel.
5.
With assistance, using sling and lifting device, position flywheel housing (3) over guide pins (1).
NOTE
Retaining screws are not fully tightened until flywheel housing has been aligned with crankshaft.
6.
Secure flywheel housing (3) with 12 screws (2) and tighten screws initially to 60 lb-in. (7 Nm).
7.
Remove guide pins (1) and install remaining screws (2). Tighten screws to 60 lb-in. (7 Nm).
