NOTE
Common center support has a locating dowel hole. Other inner supports do not have this hole.

Install two cam follower shaft assemblies into common center support.

INSTALLATION
1.
Install seven cam follower studs (5) in cylinder block (1) using two nuts tightened together. Tighten studs to 25 lb-ft (34
Nm).

Remove two nuts.

Install cam follower installation/removal tool on cam follower assembly.
NOTE
Cam follower support nos. 1, 4, and 7 are doweled and must align with dowel pins in cylinder block.
4.
Position cam follower assembly (4) over cam follower studs (5) and on cylinder block (1). Remove installation/removal
tool.
