PLS Only - Hard Lift Installation
WARNING
Lifting cables, chains, hooks, and slings used for lifting must be in good condition
and of suitable capacity.
Improper use of lifting device and improper attachment of cables may cause injury
to personnel and damage to equipment. Observe all standard rules of safety.
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and
use assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good
condition and of suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only
by lifting device.
Use extreme caution while installing hard lift. Do not allow fingers to come between
hard lift and frame during installation.
Failure to follow these warnings may result in injury or death to personnel. Seek
medical attention in the event of an injury.
NOTE
Hard lift assembly weighs 240 lb (109 kg).
1.
Attach sling and lifting device to hard lift (Figure 22, Item 1).
2.
Use lifting device to install hard lift (Figure 22, Item 1) on vehicle.
3.
Install six bolts (Figure 22, Item 3) and nuts (Figure 22, Item 2), on hard lift (Figure 22, Item 1).
