FUEL INJECTOR REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

INSTALLATION - CONTINUED
CAUTION
Injector must be fully seated before installing hold-down clamp. Engine damage can occur if injector
is not fully seated.
5.
Install injector hold-down clamp (6) and screw (5). Tighten screw to 55 lb-ft (75 Nm).

Connect injector connector (7). Check lock tab to ensure connector is locked in place.

NOTE
Ensure crossheads are installed in the same positions from which they were removed.

Install crossheads (4) on intake and exhaust valves.
NOTE
Ensure push rods and push tubes are installed in the same positions from which they were removed.

Rotate rocker arms down and install push rods (3) and push tubes (2).

9.
Adjust valves and injectors (WP 0207 00).
10.
Install rocker arm cover (WP 0052 00).
11.
Install engine cover (WP 0148 00).
