NOTE
Specifications listed below apply to all idler gears.

Measure camshaft, hydraulic pump, and water pump idler gear end clearance and backlash. End clearance measurement
must be 0.012 to 0.021 in. (0.30 to 0.53 mm). Backlash measurement must be 0.003 to 0.015 in. (0.08 to 0.38 mm).
CAUTION
Failure to check engine timing can cause severe engine damage.

Check engine timing marks on gear train. Marks should be as shown.

7.
Install cooling fan hydraulic pump drive gear (WP 0214 00).
8.
Install cooling fan hydraulic pump (WP 0247 00).
9.
Install front gear cover (WP 0212 00).
10.
Install alternator (WP 0070 00).
