CAUTION
Dowel pin bore in oil pump flange must be aligned with dowel pin in cylinder block to prevent damage
to oil pump flange during installation. DO NOT use mounting screws to pull oil pump into bore. This
will cause damage to oil pump mounting flange.

Install oil pump assembly (8) by hand.
NOTE
Sealant MUST be used to coat threads of mounting screws to prevent air from being drawn past
screws during operation.
5.
Apply sealant to mounting screw threads. Install short screw (11) in upper right mounting location, and two longer
screws (10) with spacers (9) in remaining two locations. Tighten screws to 30 lb-ft (41 Nm).
