FRONT GEAR HOUSING REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

NOTE
Note location and length of screws during removal to aid in installation.

Remove 16 flange head screws (2) securing front gear housing (4) to cylinder block (3).
CAUTION
Take care when removing front gear housing not to damage oil pan gasket. If oil pan gasket is dam-
aged, oil pan must be removed and gasket replaced.
3.
Remove front gear housing (4) from cylinder block (3).

Use needle bearing tool to remove water pump drive needle bearing (5). Discard bearing.
5.
Use needle bearing tool to remove hydraulic pump drive needle bearing (6). Discard bearing.
